Official Recommissioning of Farm Machinery Unit
The Ministry of Agriculture and Lands, Forestry, Marine Resources and Cooperatives is pleased to announce the official recommissioning of our Farm Machinery Unit.
This is a major milestone for the Ministry, as it will be poised to improve services and support provided to farmers; helping them increase productivity.
A recommissioning ceremony was held at the Mirabeau Agricultural Station- the base of the Unit. The ceremony featured remarks from Atley Hosten- Unit Coordinator, Permanent Secretary Isaac Bhagwan, Chief Agricultural Officer-Thaddeus Peters, Farmers Representative in the Senate-Senator Roderick St. Clair, Farmer Dolland Douglas and our Minister. Hon. Lennox Andrews.
The Department includes:

The Ministry has also ensured that these services are offered at a fair and reasonable price, with a new cost structure in place to cover rising expenses.
