Important Land Tenure Regularization Update

The Ministry of Agriculture and Lands, Forestry, Marine Resources and Cooperatives, is pleased to report that we are nearing the completion of Phase 1 of the Land Tenure Regularization Programme!

Over 100 individuals have received Cabinet approval for their crown land allotments, surveys are underway, and title deeds are being prepared.

The Ministry has identified usable survey plans within the Lands and Surveys Department or contracted surveyors to undertake surveys and draft plans for over one hundred people who are awaiting survey plans for the preparation of the title deeds.

Three private lawyers were contracted to expedite the preparation of deeds of titles for review by the Attorney Generals Chambers and signature by Her Excellency the Governor-General.
