Coconut Weevil Good Agricultural Practices (GAP)
As part of a countrywide drive to educate farmers, to deal with the Coconut Weevil Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) in Pest and Disease Management are recommended.
This includes use of the Coconut Weevil Traps and proper field sanitation practices.
Yesterday's Farmers' Field School was held in the Spring Garden St. Andrew and attended by farmers and residents of the area.
The training was facilitated by @Troy Augustine - of the Pest Management Unit.
