Promoting Safe Pesticide Use!

The Ministry of Agriculture and Lands, Forestry, Marine Resources and Cooperatives, has once again collaborated with the National Chronic Non Communicable Disease Commission (NCDC), to educate farmers on the safe use of pesticides, as part of efforts to help them to understand and help them to take proactive steps to reduce the likelihood or impact of potential threats or problems, associated with improper pesticide use.

The activity is the third in a series of activities, geared at encouraging better pesticide use.

Todayโ€™s session featured presentations from:

๐Ÿ”นJasmine Palmer- a student from Canada ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ, who has been assisting with the Public Health- on her findings on pesticide use in Grenada.
