Strengthening the fight against Praedial Larceny
Forty Five (45) applicants - comprising both males and females - have been selected from a pool of 200 to undergo a five-week training programme at Camp Salines as Praedial Larceny Prevention Recruit Officers.
The training, being conducted under the supervision of the RGPF Training School, will prepare them to be inducted as the newest members of the Praedial Larceny Task Force.
The initiative, launched on Monday by the Ministry of Agriculture and Lands, Forestry, and Marine Resources, forms part of efforts to strengthen its human resources and empower the unit to effectively address praedial larceny, thereby significantly reducing the threat to farmers and safeguarding Grenada's food security.
