NADMA is the only Official source for Information on Tropical Storm Don

 NATIONAL DISASTER MANAGEMENT AGENCY (NaDMA), St. George’s, Grenada – Tuesday 18th, July, 2017: The National Disaster Management Agency (NaDMA) is advising the General public that the information being circulated on various Social Media Platforms as it relates to “DECISIONS TAKEN AT A NEAC MEETING”, last evening was not disseminated by NaDMA and therefore IS NOT Official communiqué by the Agency and therefore should be disregarded.

An official communiqué will be released today on the status of business and any other directives sanctioned by the Prime Minister who is the Minister of Disaster Management.

NaDMA takes this opportunity to remind us all that we should continue to be prepared at all times for all emergencies. Also, it is a good time to ensure that all drains and water ways around your property are clearedfrom all obstructions and that you have in place your hurricane plan and preparedness kit.

The Agency in collaboration with the Meteorological Services will continue to monitor this Tropical System and will update the public as necessary.
