Grenada’s Tourism Minister to attend CTO Meeting in the Bahamas

ST. GEORGE’S, GRENADA, January 19, 2016 – GIS: Grenada will once be again represented at the annual Meeting of the Council of Tourism Ministers and Commissioners of the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO).

The meeting, which will be held in the Bahamas from January 20 to 24, will be attended by Minister for Tourism and Civil Aviation, Hon. Yolande Bain-Horsford and the Chief Executive Officer of the Grenada Tourism Authority, Mr. Rudy Grant.

Agenda items include; exploring the potential of the CTO to fully represent the tourism interests of the entire Caribbean, Creating a task force to determine ways of enlisting all eligible destinations into membership of the CTO and engaging the Caribbean Diaspora through a series of large, mutually beneficial events.

Minister Horsford will leaves for the Bahamas on January 20.
