ST. GEORGE’S, GRENADA, February 16, 2016 – GIS:Twenty-four families and four micro-businesses will benefit from a 170,000 US dollar Renewable Energy Pilot project.

Hon. Oliver Joseph, Minister for Economic Development, Trade, Planning, Co-operatives & International Business, says the grant from the Republic of South Korea, will be used for solar installation to generate electricity.

The beneficiaries’ ability to pay, their income and the benefits of the project were among the determining factors in their selection.
