ST. GEORGE'S GRENADA, February 15, 2016 -GIS: The Grenada Postal Corporation Amendment Bill 2016 was passed in the Upper House on Friday February 12 after some debate.

The bill, brought before the House by Government Senator Winston Garraway seeks to inject life into the Corporation, through re-organization.

Of the close to 150 workers, about ten have reached retirement age, about fifteen will be reintegrated into the public service, and a solution is to be found for the remainder.

“What we are looking at is to ensure that first and foremost the workers who are within the establishment, will have to move on and they will be compensated properly,” senator Garraway said.
