ST. GEORGE, GRENADA, May 11, 2015 - GIS: President of the St. Mark’s Development Committee, Dr. Julie Dubois, says the 2015 St. Mark’s Day Fiesta has probably seen the largest turn out ever since its inception in 1987.

The festivities, which ran from April 25 to May 3, hosted a wide array of events including a hike to Mt. St. Catherine, a Gospel Fest, a Bonfire Night and a Health Fair.

The Reservoir Jam, which is quickly positioning itself as the signature event of the celebration, had hundreds of supporters from around the island dance their way up and down the St. Mark’s water facility, all in the name of merriment.

Parliamentary Representative, Hon. Clarice Modeste Curwen, who spearheaded the Health Fair and played a critical part in the other activities, said the festival plays a significant role in promoting the parish of St. Mark and it's community spirit.

The St. Mark’s Development Committee extends its gratitude to the groups and individuals who contributed to the success of the celebration and looks forward to continued support from the people of St. Mark’s and well wishers from other parishes.
