ST. GEORGE’S, GRENADA , May 5, 2015 – GIS: A number of employment generating activities are in store for the people of St. Andrew south east.

Parliamentary representative Hon. Emmalin Pierre says the craft centre in the constituency will be transformed into a Grenada shop, while work is also being completed on the first community centre.

These will complement the work at the Grand Bacolet Resource Centre.

Minister Pierre says programmes offered at the centre will provide greater opportunities for people.
The center will be opening two days a week, but the goal is to open daily.

“While we’re starting two days per week, I will do everything in my power that I could possible do because my vision is to see this center open from 10am-10pm every day except on Sundays,” said the Minister.

Judd Cadet, the administrative officer of the St. Andrew Development Organisation, also spoke of their desire to provide meaningful avenues for the people of St. Andrew South East.

Cadet said the “Bacolet Resource Center aims to provide Information Technology and life skills training for the community”.
The center will be equipped with ten computers and high speed internet connection.
