Grenadian Students star at Midwestern State University

ST. GEORGE’S, GRENADA, January 7, 2014 - GIS: Grenadian students were prominent on the list of honors for fall 2014 at Midwestern State University.

Semester honors are awarded in three categories. The President’s List for students earning a perfect 4.0 GPA featured several Grenadians.

Honor recipients were Sharonda Cadoo; Alvonn Forsyth; Renisha James; Chanice La Touche; Elene Paryag; Khadeen Patrick; Ruthan Ross Vespry; and Carolyn Thomas;

The Provost list for persons at 3.75 or higher featured Tellon Smith and Timon Thomas;
And the Dean’s list for those at 3.5 or higher featured Frank Alexander; Akeida Alexis; Dareem Antoine; Jomaine Beggs; Emma Gay; Orianna Law; Ian Mitchell; Kimberly Modeste; Johann Redhead;

Vice president, Dr. Keith Lamb, commended the Grenadian students, who comprise the second largest Caribbean delegation at the university.

He noted that the Caribbean Program, now in its 23rd year, is a permanent part of the university and a valued partnership with the Grenadian Government. Twenty more places will be available to Grenadians in 2015 with partial scholarships.
