Grenada's health Minister too address Nurses in Trinidad and Tobago

ST.GEORGE'S, GRENADA, June 11, 2014 -GIS:. Grenada’s Health Minister Dr. Clarice Modeste-Curwen was scheduled to address registered nurses form the Caribbean and North America in Trinidad on Wednesday as they prepare to take up employment in the twin island Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.

Grenadian, Vincentian and Cuba nurses are participating in a two day orientation session ahead of their employment with the Ministry of Health in Trinidad.

The orientation will be held on June 11th and 12th, during which nurses will be exposed to the laws for health professionals, an overview of the health care system and nursing services, health education and promotion, personal safety and crime; and community nursing and the HIV Epidemic in Trinidad.

On day one of the orientation programme, Dr. Clarice Modeste-Curwen will be among top Governmental officials addressing the contingent of nurses from all three islands.

Thirty five Grenadian nurses left Grenada on Monday June 9, 2014 to join the Trinidad and Tobago Health Ministry.
Dr. Modeste-Curwen will return to Grenada on Wednesday evening
