Final Period for payment of Property Tax before Interest and Penalties

ST. GEORGE’S, GRENADA, Tuesday, August 26, 2014: The general public is hereby reminded that August 29th 2014 is the final day for payment of property tax, for the year 2014 without incurring 10% penalty and 2% interest.

The Inland Revenue Division (IRD) is urging all property owners to take advantage of the remaining period to settle their accounts and avoid the imposition of penalties and interest applied on their accounts.

Payments can be made online by login to the IRD’s eservices website, at the Inland Revenue Division main office, or any District Revenue Office throughout Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique.

In an effort to achieve maximum voluntary compliance, the IRD is encouraging all taxpayers to communicate with it on any difficulty or query that they may have as it relates to payment of property taxes including arrears, valuation of properties or any other property related issues
