Grenada's Health Minister attends International HIV/AIDS treatment and prevention workshop in Canada

ST. GEORGE’S, GRENADA, April 1, 2014 – GIS: Grenada’s Health Minister Dr. Clarice Modest-Curwen is currently attending an international HIV/AIDS - treatment and prevention workshop in Vancouver Canada.

The workshop began on Monday and will climax on Friday of this week, after which Dr. Modeste-Curwen will fly to Kingston Jamaica for a two day high-level regional meeting on the new funding model of the Global Fund.

Both meetings are expected to benefit Grenada as the Minister will be making personal and direct interventions in relations to HIV/AIDS care, treatment and support both technical and non-technical.

The Jamaica meeting will be held on April 8 and 9, 2014.
