SSt. George’s, August 30, 2011 – The ongoing review of Grenada’s minimum wage legislation takes a major step forward on Wednesday, August 31.

A meeting on the issue will be held from 1.30 pm at the Grenada Trade Centre Annex, Morne Rouge, St. George’s. The session, which specifically targets men and women who work as security guards, will involve Labour Minister Glynis Roberts and other officials of the Ministry of Labour, as well as various stakeholders.

“I want to appeal to all security guards to attend this very important meeting,’’ Minister Roberts said. “We hope to have a minimum wage bill soon and they will be among workers to be affected by it.’'
