Record - Breaking Production at the Belair Nursery

Bealir NurseryHillsborough, Carriacou, August 22, 2011- A record-breaking 15 hands of green bananas has been produced at the Belair Nursery in Carriacou. The previous production high was 13 hands.

The variety plants grown at the Belair Nursery include lettuce, mangoes, corn, peas and several citrus fruits.

The Agriculture Division in the Ministry of Carriacou and Petite Martinique Affairs has been expressed satisfaction with the quality and quantity of nursery's produce, which is sold to vendors on the two Sister Islands.
