Ron Livingston Redhead was appointed as a Parliamentarian and a member of the Senate on 27th April 2018. He is currently serving a term in the Senate representing the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Grenada’s main opposition party.
Senator Ron was born on Tuesday 28th January 1992 in the community of The Bacos, St George and is currently residing in Mt Gay, St George. He attended the St. Paul’s Government Pre-Primary School and later went to the Seventh Day Adventist Primary School, The Grenada Boy’s Secondary School, and the T.A. Marryshow Community College. He is currently pursuing B Sc. International Business Degree Programme at St. George’s University. His previous work experience includes the Government Printery, Public Workers Union and Adventure Tours Ltd.
Currently, he serves as the Deputy Public Relations Officer of the NDC and is an active volunteer member for a number of Non-Governmental Organizations in Grenada. He was the first youth to be appointed at the management committee of the National Democratic Congress. As a Consumer Rights, Political and Social Activist, Senator Ron has an interest in Global Politics, Economics, Information Communication Technology, Research and Development, and International Cricket. Senator Ron is also a Certified Public Speaker, Project Manager and a Computer Technician. Additionally, he is a self-taught Graphic Designer and Strategic Problem Solver.
