ST. GEORGE’S, GRENADA, November 13, 2016 –GIS: Prime Minister Dr. the Right Honourable Keith Mitchell leaves Grenada today, Sunday, November 13th, for an official visit to England.
Prime Minister will pay an official visit to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, at Buckingham Palace, on Wednesday 16th. He will also meet with a number of U.K. Cabinet members and Parliamentarians, including the Foreign Secretary and the Secretary for International Development.
Throughout the coming week, Prime Minister, in his capacity as Chairman of the Caribbean Democratic Union, will join his fellow leaders from Jamaica and St. Lucia, who are also executive members, at the International Democratic Union summit, for three days of meetings and activities.
Prime Minister returns to Grenada on November 18th. During his absence, Honourable Gregory Bowen is the Acting Prime Minister.
