Constantinian Order to donate vehicles and visit project sites in Grenada

¬†ST. GEORGE’S, GRENADA, March 11th, 2016- GIS: New vehicles supporting projects in Grenada funded by the Constantinian Order will be handed over next week.

A top official representing the Order is to pay a two-day visit to the island to hand over keys and tour project sites.

Sir Anthony Bailey is due to arrive on the island on Thursday March 17th to hand over keys to Bishop Charles and Sis Margaret Yamoah of the New Life Organisation (NEWLO). 

During his short stay on the island he will also visit some of the project sites, some of which have already received partial grant support from the Order.

They include, NEWLO, Cedars Home, Grand Anse Home, Grand Anse Development Centre; and St. Joseph’s Convent, St. George’s.
Payment has already been transferred from the Order for these projects.

The Constantinian Order is also erecting a billboard at the Grenada Public Library for which they agreed to fund.

Sir Anthony is scheduled to arrive in Grenada on Thursday 17th March at 1:25 pm and will depart on Saturday 19th March on British Airways to London

Sir Anthony is a member of the Royal Deputation of the Grand Magistry, Magistral Delegate for Inter-Religious Relations and Delegate of Great Britain & Ireland of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of St George.

Sir Anthony Bailey, OBE, officially visited Grenada a year ago, at the invitation of the country’s Prime Minister.

The visit formed part of a wider programme of engagement by the Constantinian Order in the Caribbean region which has benefited from significant charitable and moral support since 1981.
