ST. GEORGE’S, GRENADA, 26 January, 2016 –GIS: Grenada’s health sector looks set to receive a boost with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on the verge of providing assistance in crucial areas.
A ministerial meeting is currently underway in Dubai for agreement on how Grenada’s health sector can benefit from cooperation between the two countries.
At the table are Grenada’s health ministers Nickolas Steele and Ministers of Health of UAE, Abdul Rahman Bin Mohammed Al Owais.
Steele and Al Owais are meeting on the sidelines of the Arab Health Convention taking place in Dubai.
The areas being discussed include cooperation on employment for Grenadian nurses in the UAE; Telemedicine and the construction of a new General Hospital in Grenada.
