Grenada to host the First Conference of Integrity Commissions from the Commonwealth

ST. GEORGE’S, GRENADA, June 17, 2015- GIS: Grenada has been selected as the host country for the first Conference of Integrity Commissions and Anti-Corruption Bodies in the Commonwealth.

Grenada’s Integrity Commission is playing host to the event from June 22 to 26, at the Grenadian by Rex Resorts.

The purpose of the Conference is to discuss the establishment of a Commonwealth Caribbean Association of Integrity Commissions and Anti-Corruption Bodies.

It will be responsible for the implementation of ‘best practices’ in law, forensic investigation and accounting.

Thirty delegates from abroad and twenty from Grenada are expected to participate.

The Opening Ceremony is scheduled to take place on Monday, June 22, 7.00 pm to 9.00 pm.

The closing Press Briefing will take place on Friday, June 26, at 4.00 pm.
