New bathroom facilities for St. John’s Anglican

ST. GEORGE’S, GRENADA, February 4, 2015 – GIS: New bathroom facilities, constructed under the Basic Needs Trust Fund (BNTF), have been officially handed to the St. John’s Anglican school.

The refurbishment included the enhancement of the pre- school washroom now consisting of three toilets and one bathroom, the female sanitation facility consisting of eight toilets and one bathroom and the male washroom which has three toilets.

Principal Mrs. Emma Mendez-Best says the school is grateful to the BNTF for constructing the new bathroom facilities which replace the first ones built 50 years ago.

Parliamentary Representative Hon. Alvin DaBreo and Project Manager of the BNTF,Mr. Issac Bhagwan, were among officials present for the hand-over.

Mr. Dabreo said he was delighted to see the completion of the project, adding that more projects were on stream.

The new facilities were constructed to the tune of one hundred and thirty-three thousand, six hundred and six cents.
