PM Mitchell to deliver Science and Technology Lecture at UWI, Trinidad

ST. GEORGE’S, GRENADA, July 15, 2014 – GIS: Prime Minister Dr. the Right Honourable Keith Mitchell leaves Grenada today, Tuesday, July 15, for Trinidad.


Prime Minister Mitchell will deliver a lecture, this evening, at the University of the West Indies’ St. Augustine Campus, on Science and Technology and their utility in transforming our economies and sustaining our region.

The Prime Minister, in his capacity as Head for Science and Technology in CARICOM, will be addressing a vast audience of scientists and politicians.


Dr. Mitchell is scheduled to return to Grenada early Wednesday morning.


Deputy Prime Minister, Honourable Elvin Nimrod, will be the Acting Prime Minister in the absence of Prime Minister Mitchell.
