St. George’s Grenada, Saturday 2nd March, 2013, MOEPRU – Partial scholarship offers are available for qualified individuals desirous of advancing their studies.
The opportunity is being offered by the Government of China in collaboration with the Organisation of American States (OAS) Department of Human Development, Education and Culture.
Scholarships are available for suitably qualified applicants to pursue undergraduate and graduate studies in China, in any field available to international students, for classes commencing September 2013.
Applicants must be Non-Chinese citizens, citizens or permanent residents of an OAS member state and in good health to successfully undertake studies. To pursue undergraduate studies, candidates must be under the age of 25 years of age and under 35 years of age to pursue a Master’s Degree.
On completion of studies successful candidates must return to their home country.
Scholarship includes full tuition, basic learning materials, accommodation and monthly allowance.
Application Form for the Chinese Government Scholarship, can be accessed at: http://laihua.csc.edu.cn/inscholarship/jsp/student/StudentLogin.jsp and must be submitted along with a notarized coy of highest diploma obtained, academic transcripts, a study or research plan - no less than 200 words for undergraduate and no less than 500 words for graduate applicants - two letters of recommendation (academic references) and a photocopy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form.
Successful applicants will be responsible for covering their Airfare, student Visa fees and some of the learning materials.
Applicants may choose one academic program and up to three institutions as personal preferences from the list of Chinese Higher Education Institutions designated by the Ministry of Education (MOE).
