ST. GEORGE, GRENADA, JULY 18, 2012_The Ministry of Works announces the short listing of architects for the Grenada House of Parliament. The decision was taken by the Public Tenders Board following a review of the shortlist report by a technical panel assembled by the Ministry of Works.
Chief Technical Officer in the Ministry of Works, Public Utilities and Physical Development Mr. Cecil Harris says seven architects are short listed for the project.
The firms selected are from Grenada, Trinidad, Barbados and Jamaica.
The competition to produce a concept design for the Parliament Building will commence on Thursday 26th July 2012.
The launching of the competition will follow a meeting explaining the rules and protocols of the competition as well as a site visit. The architects will then have 8 weeks to produce their concept designs.
