ST. GEORGE’S, GRENADA, FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 3, 2012 _ The Blood Donation Unit - General Hospital, is appealing to members of the public to donate their blood as the unit continues to take steps to ensure a safe, reliable and constant supply of blood.
The Unit is presently experiencing some difficulties that have seriously affected our supply. It is in that regard we are kindly seeking your support for the donation of all types of blood; i.e. (O: +/-, A: +/-, B: +/-, AB: +/-).
We believe that it is in the publics’ interest to ensure that there is an available supply of blood at all times and especially, at this time of heightened activities marking Grenada’s 38th Anniversary of Independence.
All persons wishing to donate are kindly asked to visit or call the Laboratory Unit at 440-5578.
