ST. GEORGE'S, GRENADA, Friday, July 16, 2010: Businesses are hereby reminded that VAT Returns for the month of June are due and payable by Tuesday 20th July, 2010. Payments can be made at the Inland Revenue Division, the VAT Office, and all District Revenue Offices throughout the island. Please note that returns can be filed at the new location of the Grenville
Revenue Office in the Agricultural Building on Seaton James Street, Grenville, St. Andrews.
Taxpayers are reminded that the due date for filing VAT Return is the 20th of each month. However, if the 20th falls on a weekend or public holiday, the due date then, becomes the first working day after.
Taxpayers are also encouraged to check the due date box at the top right side of the VAT Return Form to verify the due date of each Return. A person who fails to file a VAT return within the stipulated date provided shall be liable to a late fee of $10,000.
