GYEI graduation ceremony to take place next week
Wednesday April 16th, 2008: The Department of Youth Development will be holding its Graduation ceremony for participants who have completed the Grenada Youth Enterprise Initiative training sessions in the parishes of St. Mark, St. Andrew and St. George.
Present at the ceremony will be Minister for Youth Development, Senator the Honourable Emmalin Pierre, Permanent Secretary, Mrs. Eunice Sandy-David and Project Coordinator in the Department of Youth Development, Mr. Norman Gilbert.
Project Officer with responsibility for the Grenada Youth Enterprise Initiative, Mr. Jose Buddy, says that the Graduation ceremony serves as a form of motivation for the participants. He also said that the certificates will serve as an official document recognizing the participants’ completion of the business training course which plays an integral role in the startup, functioning and progression of a business.
The Graduation ceremony will take place on Monday April 21st, 2008 at the Grenada Red Cross Conference Room, Lucas Street St. George, at 4:30 pm.
